
Aishatu Abdu Gusau
Born on 12th December 1975, is a Nigerian administrator, activist, and community leader from Gusau, Zamfara State. With a career spanning public service, humanitarian affairs, and education, she has held numerous leadership positions including General Manager (Admin) of Zamfara State Agricultural Supply Company (2020–date), Director of Administration at the Directorate of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (2019–2020), State Administrative Officer with IFAD/CASP (2016–2019), and Capacity Building & Training Officer with IFAD/CBARDP (2012–date). She also served as State Administrative Officer, IFAD/RUFIN (2010–2015), Deputy Director at the Ministry of Health, Zamfara State (2006–2008), and continues to contribute to education as Proprietress of Nurul Islam School Complex, Gusau. Beyond government service, Aishatu is the Founder and CEO of Health & Integrity for Women and Children Development Initiative (HIWOCDIN), Managing Director of Yusurah Collection, and CEO of Blueberry Global Resources. She plays an active role in advocacy and development as Coordinator of the PAVE Network Zamfara State Chapter, Deputy Secretary (North West) of GEWE – UN Women, and Girls Speak Ambassador Champion. A dedicated advocate for women, youth, and community empowerment, Aishatu Abdu Gusau continues to influence policies and initiatives that promote inclusion, peacebuilding, and social development across Zamfara State and beyond.
